With lanterns in hand, you will follow your guide on a mysterious journey behind locked gates into areas normally unavailable to the public. You will step into the shadows and learn secrets & stories of The Rocks heyday. See haunted sites as your guide takes you along cobblestone lanes, and join in with group activities and discussions. You will learn about some of the people who were murdered in the colonial past, who killed them and why, and about the larrikins of the era. This is not for the faint of heart. Some of those tormented spirits can at times be still encountered, so keep your wits with you!
Teen / Kids Birthday
With the emphasis on fun, but just enough spookiness, kids and teenagers will love this birthday tour. Our black hat and black cape wearing Ghost Host will enthrall the group with stories, legends and actual events that occurred at various sites in the historic Rocks area of Sydney. Props will be provided, allowing everyone to dress up and roleplay some of the infamous characters that left their indelible mark on the area’s history. Much laughter and screaming will be had and, as well, the kids will gain a knowledge and understanding of The Rocks unique past. Our host can accommodate up to 30 on this fun hour and half birthday adventure through The Rocks. Included is a complimentary Gift Bag for the birthday boy or girl. Times can be arranged to suit.
Adult Birthday Tour
Looking for another idea to celebrate yet another Birthday? Our fun hour and a half tour will make for a birthday celebration to remember. Walking through the dark alleys and entering into dark places with a Ghost Host leading the way, will entertain and inform. With torches and lanterns instead of birthday candles, this is a unique way to celebrate the milestone. This one and a half hour tour will take you through the historic Rocks area of Sydney. A complimentary gift bag is included for the birthday girl or boy. The party can then continue at one of the many nearby bars, hotels and restaurants.
